Since then, in order to be in tandem with the changing demands, Impala Phones has excelled in upgrading the system, with pioneering zeal. Impala Phones started with Manufacturing Push Button Intercoms. When the Government of India opened up its licensing policy for private owned telephone exchanges, Impala Designed and Developed EPABX Systems. Impala was the first company to have acquired the certificate of approval in MUMBAI from TEC (Telecommunication Engineering Center, Department of Telecom - Government of India.) Foreseeing an opportunity in providing security for the life and property of the members of housing societies, Impala Phones pioneered the Tele-Security Society Intercom System i.e. EPAX (Electronic Private Automatic Exchange) in Mumbai, way back in the early Nineties. Our ongoing research and developments programs are focused in providing electronic security solutions and home automation systems. We have successfully introduced color Video Intercom system for Multi Apartments and color Video Door Phone Systems during our Silver Jubilee Year. In the immediate future, we propose to introduce an integrated solution with built in intercom along with home automation systems.
